Corrections policy

Reporting an error

Readers can submit factual correction requests to the editorial desk through our corrections address. Each report must include the article link, the specific sentence in dispute, and verifiable supporting documentation.

Correction notice placement

The senior editor reviews reported errors alongside the reporter within twenty-four hours. If a factual error occurred, we update the story and append a clear correction note at the bottom of the page explaining the edit.

Retraction policy

When an article contains foundational errors that invalidate the entire report, the publication issues an editorial retraction notice. The original text remains accessible with a prominent notice explaining why the initial reporting failed to meet desk standards.
